Description

The Meaning of Life – 12 tracks – 2009

Following the steps of her previous works, the Motherland, Dajla drops “The Meaning of Life” a blend of urban soul, afro-funk and hip-hop. Her mentor Angelo Moore (from legendary punk-rock L.A.-band Fishbone) performs with her on the epic single titled “Consequences”. The album also features guests such as L.A. rappers the Procussions (“The Meaning of Life”), Magic Malik (“Gift of Life”, “R.A.C.E.S”, “A Consciousness is Rising”) and U.K poet Anthony Joseph (“X.O. Planet”). An epic journey into Dajla’s futuristic Afrodelic Soul.
