Dajla is a young lady that has many tricks up her sleeve. A bass-player, a songwriter and most of all, a singer, her first album allows us to discover a warm voice, full of swing, in a genre that we could call nu soul. The album is produced with her partner Benjamin Bouton, obviously very much inspired by the late Jay Dilla. Dajla walks on the same path as singers such as Erykah Badu…We have been delighted by the album, but would have liked to hear a few tracks in French…
